About 30% of the park is covered by trees, and throughout its grounds, your party could be lucky enough to stumble across a herd of wild fallow deer or a pond of turtles!

History-inclined groups will be sure to enjoy the numerous historic buildings and monuments around the Park, the most famous being Áras an Uachtarain, residency of the Irish president. Families will love the Victorian People Flower Gardens with its ornamental lakes, children’s playground and picnic area. Sports teams can enjoy the cricket and polo grounds, GAA pitches and the many cycling routes available all over the park.

Phoenix Park is also house to Dublin Zoo, the 3rd oldest zoo in the world, and home to over 600 species. Here, groups of 10 or more are offered a special discount of €13.50 per adult and €8.75 for a child.

Groups can also enjoy the free visitor centre, offering a lively and entertaining exhibition on the history and wildlife of Phoenix Park from 3500BC to present day.
